No dia 13 de novembro de 2025, teve início a Semana da Consciência Negra em Bauru acontece de 13 a 20 de novembro, com atividades culturais que valorizam o protagonismo da comunidade negra. A programação inclui a abertura oficial, entrega dos prêmios Luísa Mahin e Zumbi dos Palmares, diálogo inter-religioso e encerra no dia 20 com uma homenagem a Zumbi dos Palmares na Praça África.

Black Awareness Week in Bauru began on November 13, 2025, and runs through November 20, featuring cultural activities that highlight the leadership and prominence of the Black community. The program includes the official opening, the presentation of the Luísa Mahin and Zumbi dos Palmares awards, and interfaith dialogues. The event concludes on the 20th with a tribute to Zumbi dos Palmares at Praça África.
